Shipping & Logistics Analyst Job Overview

ONELIVE is currently seeking an experienced Shipping & Logistics Analyst. This person, under guidance of our CFO, will be responsible for maintaining current information and rates within company databases, coordinating with carriers/vendors, and continually improving efficiencies and revenue through data analysis. In addition, this role will be responsible for providing summarized monthly billing reports of ONELIVE’S warehouse and shipping activity to the accounting team for customer billing.

This position is primarily remote; however applicants must reside in the Austin-area and be willing to commute to ONELIVE’s office/warehouse as needed (3-5 days per month).

Responsibilities

• Maintaining up-to-date information in ONELIVE’s  logistic databases
• Generating daily/weekly/monthly reports and analyses to guide both company and client strategy
• Updating customer ship rate tables to ensure the most cost-effective means of shipping
• Identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency
• Creating policies/procedures to eliminate revenue leakage related to Shipping and Warehouse services
• Preparation of Customer shipping quotes for specialized fulfillment projects
• Corresponding with carriers to ensure rate and contract accuracy
• Providing monthly billings reports for ONELIVE’s warehouse and shipping activity
• Gather and reconcile inventory data as required
• Assisting CFO with budgeting and forecasting of warehouse and shipping activity

Requirements

• 3+ years of shipping and/or ecommerce logistics experience
• Proficiency in Excel required
• Experience using shipping and logistics technologies, including:
  • WMS platforms (Logiwa, NetSuite, Tecsys, etc.)
  • Shipping software (ShipStation, ShipHero, AfterShip, Shippo, etc.)
  • Ecommerce software (Shopify, BigCommerce, etc.)
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to interpret and story tell
• Experience with working in a cross-discipline environment with finance, fulfillment, and ecommerce professionals
• Extremely detail-oriented, organized, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with a high level of accuracy
• Proven self-starter who drives projects forward while fostering team collaboration and knowledge sharing
• Exceptional organizational skills with demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
• Proven ability to rapidly assess, adopt, and implement strategies that drive efficiency and revenue
• Proven ability to evaluate solutions through both technical and business lenses, balancing customer experience with ROI
• Track record of making strategic decisions that align with business objectives and revenue goals
