Ecommerce Account Manager Job Overview
We are looking for a full-time account management professional with experience in ecommerce platforms, best practices and successfully managing client accounts. This role will be responsible for managing key ONELIVE client accounts, including hands-on assistance and consulting related to ecommerce technologies, day-to-day online store needs, and identification of growth opportunities. Shopify experience required.
Responsibilities
To be successful in this role, this person must be able to perform the following functions with a high level of proficiency.
- Consistent communication with clients to ensure their needs are understood and addressed to ensure account retention.
- Make sure clients' needs and SLAs are being met and understood by each department in the company.
- Work with prospective and existing clients on ecommerce solutions by providing insights and advice on the services and technologies available.
- Help clients learn the tools and systems available, so they can be more effective in managing and scaling their ecommerce sales.
- Collaborate with internal departments to identify cross-sell/upsell opportunities and manage an internal pipeline of potential clients to meet/exceed quarterly targets.
- Run effective online meetings with clients and internal subject matter experts.
Requirements
The following traits and skills are required for this Ecommerce Account Manager role.
- Proven account management experience
- Track record of success in ecommerce and client account management
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Proficiency with ecommerce tools:
- Shopify (especially Shopify Plus) including popular apps
- Marketing platforms like Klaviyo, Sendlane, etc.
- Shipping & fulfillment platforms (i.e. ShipStation, TechShip, Logiwa, etc.)
- BigCommerce experience a plus
- Proficiency with administrative and office tools:
- Gmail, Meet & Google Calendar
- MS PowerPoint / Google Slides
- MS Excel / Google Sheets
- CRM Software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc)
